Brandt Fitness and Self-Defense is a gym in downtown Fort Worth, Texas offering CrossFit (over 20 classes/week), children's martial arts, self-defense workshops, and personal training. The gym was founded by Kyle Brandt, a long-time Fort Worthian, personal trainer, and fifth-degree black belt.
In summer 2018, Kyle merged with TooFit, a Fort Worth-based supplements company, to create a gym on White Settlement Road. Children's martial arts is still out of that location for now.
We like to be flexible, so we offer a few different ones.
CrossFit classes are offered at 11:30am, 4:30pm, 5:30pm, and 6:30pm Monday-Thursday. On Fridays, the 6:30pm class is NOT offered. On Saturday mornings, there is an Olympic lifting class at 10am and then a Community WOD at 11am. The gym is not open on Sundays.
A monthly membership is $150. (You can get your first three months for $400, however.) The first week of classes is free, and the drop-in rate (for out-of-town friends) is $20. If you choose to come to Saturday morning Community WODs, your first three visits are free.
Children's Martial Arts
Kyle has been involved with martial arts since he was a kid, and has been coaching over two decades.
Classes are 4:30pm and 5:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 9am on Saturday mornings. (Five total per week.) The membership is $100 per month.
Personal training is available at various times. It's best to call or email Kyle (firstname.lastname@example.org or 817.291.0675) but the general rate is $500 per 10 sessions, with the average session lasting about 50 minutes-1 hour.
