Who We Are

Brandt Fitness and Self Defense is a CrossFit Gym and martial arts studio in Downtown Fort Worth, Texas. We believe that fitness is an important component to health and longevity and pay close attention to each athlete’s personal goals. We also believe that working out should be a fun and uplifting community experience.

We offer CrossFit and Martial Arts in Downtown Fort Worth, TX. Our CrossFit classes cater to athletes in all skill ranges – from the exercise novice to the professional athlete. We have martial arts classes for children ages 4 through 18 and family classes suitable for adults of all fitness levels.

With skilled coaches and detailed programming, we formulate training plans to aid in building strength, stamina, skill and function in all athletes.

We are located in the spacious basement level area of the 300 Burnett building, across from the Public Library in Downtown Fort Worth. Our facility features locker rooms, showers, and a lounging area for members.

Our Core Strategies
Coaching

Class sizes range from 5 to 15 to ensure that each individual gets the attention they need. Coaches pay attention to form, safety, and attitudes of all participants. We also offer one-on-one classes for those who prefer a more personalized approach to their training.

Programming

Our trainers take programming very seriously. The Blog contains detailed workouts planned to complement each other every day. WODs are designed to be performed daily and take into consideration rest needs, cardio, strength, and skill work.

Nutrition

We believe that good nutrition is crucial to getting results from your training. We provide a paleo/primal nutrition blog, Fort Worth Hunter Gatherer, as well as one-on-one advice and help with athletes’ personal diets if desired.
